Best Buddies Blues Band

The Best Buddies Blues Band, also known as ‘BQUAD’, is a group of high school students involved in an extra-curricular and curricular instrumental music program at Dr. Martin LeBoldus High School, Regina.  

The pilot project was implemented in the fall of 2005.  The band has grown from 10 members to 26 members in five short years. The musicians are drawn from the LeBoldus Best Buddies Chapter.

Best Buddies Canada is a national charitable organization dedicated to enhancing our communities through one-to-one relationships between individuals with intellectual disabilities and high school students.  The band is designed for students with intellectual disabilities and those without, to play and perform music together.  This band demonstrates the power of inclusion via the power of music, allowing us to celebrate what we ‘can do’!
