Inspiration, Emotion and Canadian Pride

The show in Prince Albert was absolutely phenomenal. It was a picturesque setting in downtown Prince Albert with excellent weather and amazing community spirit.

The quality of the show was unbelievable, featuring more than 60 local performers led by Sheldon and Dawn Bergstrom and Michelle McKeaveney. The dance teams were choreographed to perfection and the enthusiasm and energy they exuded from the stage had the city of Prince Albert dancing in the streets.

The crowd in Memorial Square exceeded 8,000 people, with another 1,000 to 2,000 lining the relay route. It was an evening full of inspiration, emotion and Canadian pride. Prince Albert’s Olympic Torch Relay Celebration brought the community together with glowing hearts and open arms.

The citizens of Prince Albert and surrounding areas will remember January 11, 2010, for years to come!
